In short, since my Marine Corps days, there is truly very little out there that I believe I cannot accomplish or overcome. (Ooorah!) But my overall work ethic and morals have show through very well since I have left the service. I tend to be the one that gets things done when others are sitting around and horse playing. It is easy to spot individuals that have left the service in a work place by their work ethics.  SPC Corbin Doades Tue, 05 Nov 2013 21:38:14 -0500 2013-11-05T21:38:14-05:00 Response by SSG Jim Handy made Nov 6 at 2013 10:51 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/veterans-how-do-the-skills-in-the-military-directly-benefit-your-work-in-business?n=3884&urlhash=3884 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My whole life has been using the same math skills. When I entered the Army I was selected to compute firing data for the field artillery because of my skills. After leaving the Army I went into construction. The same math skills I used in the Army were helpful in the construction trade. Later on I became a CNC machinist and once again found that I was using the exact same math skills.
