SSG Private RallyPoint Member37625<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Today I was stopped by a SFC and told that because I was not wearing a jacket that apparently it is not cold enough to be wearing gloves and a watch cap. He made this sound like it was common Army knowledge and asked what unit I was from and then proceded to walk to our HHD B-hut supposedly to tell on me or something. I was respectfull and didn't argue with him. Later I asked my section SFC and he said he has never heard of that. So the question is has anyone heard of this. I could not find mention of it in the AR and there is nothing about it in our camp SOP other than a line that says both the brown and grey watchcaps are authorized with the multicam uniform.Watch caps (beanies) and gloves while wearing multicams without a jacket.2014-01-13T23:02:32-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member37625<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Today I was stopped by a SFC and told that because I was not wearing a jacket that apparently it is not cold enough to be wearing gloves and a watch cap. There is no regulatory requirement that makes those items a set.Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Jan 13 at 2014 11:04 PM2014-01-13T23:04:13-05:002014-01-13T23:04:13-05:00SSG Robert Burns37642<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Next time just say "thank you sergeant. Can you show me where I can find that so I can square away the rest of my battalion?" I do understand that if our unit put a uniform out for formation then I would be expected to wear a particular uniform.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 13 at 2014 11:34 PM2014-01-13T23:34:34-05:002014-01-13T23:34:34-05:002014-01-13T23:02:32-05:00
