We are dual military and both receive single rate BAH. If we accept on-post housing will both of our BAH be forfeited or only one? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/we-are-dual-military-and-both-receive-single-rate-bah-if-we-accept-on-post-housing-will-both-of-our-bah-be-forfeited-or-only-one <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> Fri, 31 May 2019 14:16:57 -0400 We are dual military and both receive single rate BAH. We both receive the &quot;without dependent&quot; rate, but on-post privatized housing charges us at the &quot;with dependent&quot; rate. So they take a couple extra hundred out of her pay and I just reimburse her the difference and throw the few hundred left over into our savings. SGT Nicholas M. Privatized housing has really turned out crappy for a large majority of us and I am very unlikely to ever live on post again. The cost to benefit ratio is generally not there. I realize this is not what you asked but having dealt with privatized housing, a share I felt important.
