Anything done to them really just punishes the people of Afghanistan. It doesn't really hurt the Taliban at all. <br /><br />I thought he died like a year or two ago honestly. Looking it up realize there were reports of he was either dead or "off the grid." <br /><br />It's not really our problem to deal with. He will be replaced in and instant. The Taliban is like like cutting the head off of a snake, but it keeps growing back. The problem is, as was pointed out, there is always a lot of collateral damage. Innocent people get killed or hurt. As I see it, we either need to declare war and completely wipe them all out, or we need to get the hell out and let them settle it on their own. We are not policemen and policewomen. We are soldiers. our job is not to try to make sure everyone gets along, our jon, as it was put by a general years ago, is to kill people and blow things up. That is what we were trained for and what we do best. The middle east has had wars for thousands of years,\. They have wars like we have baseball games.
