Are you going to change your mind if someone tells you your chances suck?

Put your packet in and stop worrying about other people's opinions Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 27 at 2022 4:43 PM 2022-08-27T16:43:04-04:00 2022-08-27T16:43:04-04:00 Lt Col Jim Coe 7855549

US Citizenship is required in all of the Services. Other than that, look at each Service's website to determine the requirements for commissioning. They are all similar, but not necessarily identical. If you meet all the basic requirements for citizenship, education, physical fitness, etc., then talk with your unit retention NCO about enlisted-to-officer programs in your Service. If you want to consider other Services, then talk to recruiters from those Services.

Your opportunity go get into any commissioning program is based on many factors. First, you must meet the minimum requirements. Beyond that, it largely depends on your match to the needs of that Service.
