What are other training rooms doing with valid APFT tests due to Covid-19 that are outside of a year? 2020-09-08T16:20:19-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 6292014 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m our units training room NCO and was wondering what other training rooms are doing with personnel that have current a current APFT due to the Covid-19 restrictions but are out of tolerance due to DTMS. any advice is appreciated. FTMS is just a system, it works for us, we don’t work for it. Everyone with a passing APFT no longer needs to take one. I have seen some units re-aging APFTs which means giving them a new passing APFT, but that’s unnecessary and not legit. There is no negative repercussion to the Soldier for not having an up to date APFT, and they will not lose their promotable status Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 8 at 2020 4:32 PM 2020-09-08T16:32:00-04:00 2020-09-08T16:32:00-04:00 MAJ Private RallyPoint Member 6292591 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Our unit received guidance from battalion level about how to enter data for apft including height and weight in the system. I imagine you should get the same info from higher up. <br /><br />No apft is being performed unless someone was a previous failure. Plan is once restrictions are lifted to do ACFT but it will not count negatively towards soldiers and the plank is allowed if a soldier fails the leg tuck (but must first attempt a leg tuck and then drop to a plank). If they have a failing APFT then they have to take one to remove the flag. This applies to all schools and units. Which doesn’t seem like the most legit answer, I think the right answer to this is probably just let them be, I imagine the system will be updated to reflect the changes. That’s just my point of view on it like I said, but at the end of the day whatever your unit CoC decides and has you do just ride with that.
