What are some good duty stations/units to re-enlist for?

Every duty station is as good as you make it. No matter where you get assigned, there will be something to do. Go out and explore the area!
If you just sit in the barracks and feel sorry for yourself because you got a "bad" assignment, you'll never discover the hidden gems that make an area unique.

Simple at your grade, not often do you have the option to select a location based on that alone. At your grade there is no wrong place. Select an area, region/location soely on your personal preference. Somewhere unusual, Alaska, Hawaii, Poland. Anyway, there is no wrong for you.

I was at Hood and loved it but then again I love field life being H8. Korea wasnt for me at all. Now I’m about to leave Hawaii and it has been my favorite so far. Like others have said it’s all about what you make it, but having an awesome command team really helps.

Depends on what you like. Outdoors activities consider Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson AK or Ft Carson CO. Beach life go to Hawaii. History fan WDC area, Tidewater VA.

If you can pull it off Italy is a good one. Stay away from hawaii. Schofield is a great location but the units and training is not the greatest.
