Social Security did a recomputation for my girls money and the result was horrible. They lost $5000 over 5 months for SS to tell us they are supposed to get $5 more a month.

Not seeing Hillary indicted for her misuse of classified government info when the powers that be were so quick to charge and convict Gen. Petraeus for his security lapses. Bet the good General wished he was a Democrat!!

CPT Joseph K Murdock I applied online for Social Security. Based on being born in Germany (my father was stationed there in the Air Force), they sent me a letter telling me I had to go to the county office. I go there and present my Birth Certificate which is written in German, along with my report of birth which is in English. They then asked if I had any other paperwork to show them. I had to get a supervisor involved. When I went to get my passport, the guy told me that I might need to travel to Germany to get my birth certificate redone in English. Even with the report of birth, that was not enough. Again, I had to get the head honcho involved so that I could convince him that my records were good. Don't even let me get started on the VA.

A commissioner refused to authorize a $300 expenditure even though the price was going to be $3000 if we didn't do it. It had to be done the only difference was a few months time. So the County spent $3000 for what could have been for $300.

I watched at Plattsburgh AFB NY around 1975 where a contractor came through the base and painted new traffic lines on the roads. A few weeks later, another contractor came through and re-paved all the roads. Doh!

Command Group purchasing $800 desks in Afghanistan, and then they spent god knows how much on fridges that we didn't have electricity routed to.... Oh and issuing $350 mountain boots to every soldier but then not allowing us to wear them... a bunch of small stuff in one brigade that makes me cringe at the thought of what goes on throughout all of government.

Doing supply control and finding out why we pay $200 for a hammer.
