I heard for the Vice President when he announced on National TV that two Armored Divisions from Germany were to deploy to Southwest Asia.

WO1 Private RallyPoint Member, I've only deployed once so far, but here are the top 5 signs that I encountered prior to my deployment.

5) You read about it in the Army Times one day. (Example: http://www.armytimes.com/story/military/2014/12/27/army-deployments-2015/20861125/)

4) You overhear the spouses of higher-ranking service members talking about it at FRG fundraisers.

3) Your whole company gets put on a bus to a building called "RFI" because the Army has generously decided to grace everyone in your unit with free multi-cam uniforms and gear.

2) You show up for work call one day and get sent to an awful place called Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP), where you get to carry a folder around and stand in a series of soul-shriveling lines until you're deemed worthy to die for our country.
