What budget/ low cost online colleges do you know of and trust?

I know about Penn Foster. IMO they are a great alternative school. Unfortunately they only offer 2 bachelor level degrees. I would like to hear about other similar options.

I did my Masters through American Military University. They are great for working professionals and they are pretty inexpensive. They also are accredited so no worries about that.

Columbia Southern University. Tuition is reasonable, and the books are free. It's nationally accredited, and the professors were always available.

SPOILER *I have a sheet of paper from a collage and passed with a 3.4 gpa, There are high school students that know more about engineering than I do.*

Only advice I can give is look into the school you plan on attending and the program. You will need to decide if you are looking for a sheet of paper from a school or an education. If you want a technical degree (piece of paper) you could look into ECPI University. Very short, 5 week semesters and perfectly priced at 250 a credit hour. Down side, how much info are you going to retain taking 2 classes a month and finishing a bachelors in under 2 years. Also look into which credits they want to automatically accredit for you, it can a lot of times be lower level electives for information you may have forgotten and can negatively affect you when taking the more advanced courses.

Lot's of great options out there, Trevor. Some of them are completely online and some schools offer a variety of programs, both on campus and online. Let me know what types of programs you are interested in looking into, and I'll give you a list to explore prices and options that will get you where you want to go.

I think ASU offers instate tuition to all veterans for their online programs.
