What do you do on your lunch break?

Many of us use the time we have on our lunch break to do something rather than stay at work; what do you do with that time?

When I was still in, I would frequent the base barber to ensure my hair stayed within regs. Often times, in a SCIF, it was too much of a hassle to leave, so the mess (chow) hall was a frequent place for me. Now, I eat lunch at my desk and watch Netflix, listen to music or read a lot of news.

I don't know about others, but when I get a lunch break I tend to eat lunch! Lol

When we lived in base housing I would go home and eat, let the dog out and relax, now I am packing my lunch (most of the time) and relax at my desk and either do some work or hit up RallyPoint (nerd). Depending on my workouts I try to take the time and go to the gym and then just eat when I get back while working. I guess it just depends what is going on!

I don't really take a lunch break. I pick up food from the cafeteria, or bring my own lunch and eat it at my desk while monitoring e-mails and other work activities.

I pack a lunch and listen to audio books. It gets my mind off of work and lets me relax for a few minutes.

I've heard of this mysterious practice called lunch, but rarely had the opportunity to partake in the function since I graduated from high school 33 years ago. Maybe you have some other ideas about lunch than I do. For me it just means I can't reach people I need to talk to when I want to.

I work in a prison so I have to eat at the officers dining hall or not eat at all. I can't leave to go eat.

Depending on the day and how I feel, I have some PTSD issues. If I'm out and about I try to take an employee and/or customer to lunch. If I'm having a bad day and don't want to be around people I take something to read to a sit down restaurant and eat alone.

I am retired and disabled so my lunch is pretty much all day long.
