What do you think is the best Army dress uniform?

Just a general question on what everyone thinks what the best Army dress uniform was the best?

Well I hated the Green Class A's and I was stuck wearing them forever. We prayed for the Khaki uniform to come back, instead we got black berets Class A's as the new standard. After I retired the WWII Khaki Uniform came back, but to be honest, I thought the Winter darker uniform looked better. See Captain Winters from Band of Brothers below.

If we had a closed collar (like the marines) on the blues it would be just about perfect.

A tie of any sort tones down the seriousness of a military uniform.

The new greens were screwed up in little ways as well. The leather jacket for instance, ranks are worn with Velcro. Same with the dress shirts (Velcro) and not pin on ranks. It's like seeing a uniform that is just a little off.

When I wear my ASU I feel like an airline pilot. Probably getting my pinks and greens when you can actually find them at clothing and sales sometime this year.

I like what we are currently sporting, if we could just stick with it. ASU for ceremony, Pinks and Greens for garrison, OCP's for field and duty. We'll probably have a new uniform in 10 years or less though.

The Mess uniform looks good, but a touch expensive for me.
