E-5 and above and officers? Pack your bags and Start your transition. And me personally? I think that's the right approach. NCO's and Officers should be setting the example for all to follow. How can i expect Soldiers to follow my lead if i fail a Urinalysis? That's a disaster waiting to happen. Officers have get hit with motre charges sometimes, but UCMJ is not rank made. An O fails, in my units (never had one) just like an EM- BC would BN ART 15, and then chapter them out. As a SFC I am held to a higher standard than an E1-E4. It should be that way. Think about it. We are asking soldiers to place their lives and their futures in the hands of their leaders, so shouldn't the leaders actually be worthy of that kind of trust? Urine analysis are not moving targets that you have to hit. Do the right thing, on and off duty.
