Got out on a chapter (don’t remember which one but because the Army was downsizing at the time in the mid to late 90s). Went TPU reserves, never got a contracted bonus, got out of that into the IRR. 2 years after that went back in the TPU reserves and eventually got commissioned and then back on active duty and retired with over 20 active years. <br /><br />It really had no long term effect on original DD-214 and benefits and actually did a lot more for me in the long run.
