Enjoy your time and get off post. The entire 2ID is too damn close to the DMZ
2. North Korea is governed by a mad man (a new mad man since I was there, but just as crazy, maybe a bit crazier). It was the best place to be at the time. The bus system is very reliable and everything you need is right outside the gate. Bars, clubs, restaurants, the train station etc etc.

My unit was 96 Transportation Company. It was the biggest company in the BN. It later changed to 96 Composite Truck Company and moved to Camp Casey which was is pretty much the same base and 3 minutes away.

The roughest thing about this duty station was the 2am to 5am curfew. But from what I hear that regulation no longer exists.

Any questions, feel free to ask. It was every soldiers duty to return to your assigned installation when the air raid sirens went off back in 92-93. Probably still the same today with crazy “Rocketman” in charge of North Korea.
