This book really showed the importance of learning from and respecting elder generations. It show's, most of all, that RELATIONSHIPS are the most important key to growth and success! I always love building strong relationships, especially with those who are much older than me and have experiences to share that I will probably never relate to. I soak everything I can from anyone who's willing to sit and talk and pause the fast pace of life and learn about each other. Relationships fill a place in your heart that nothing else will! This is why a relationship with Jesus Christ is so important! Though, "Tuesday's with Morrie" has spiritual connotations, its emphasis is the relationship. Learning to care, love, and sacrifice! Helping us reassess what is truly important. My mentor's favorite emphasis is "It's all about relationships"... in fact, I wrote this on the inside cover of my Bible. I look forward to learning from your responses. God Bless!
