What is the best way to contact my branch manager? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-best-way-to-contact-my-branch-manager

I was wondering, how and when would be the best time to contact my Branch Manager! Should I email or call? If I call is there a best time and or day to call? Or should I just go to Retention and get their help? They usually look at that first.
You have to be on station for 3 years, so you can contact them to discuss a duty station after 2.years on station. If you are close to ETS they will tell you to talk to your Career Counselor since you'll need to reenlist to move anyway.
I have found the best time to reach them is 0800 to 1600 EST. Follow up with an email that says, as per our discussion.... I'd start with e-mail and see how responsive the person at the other end is, and then call if/when you need to. I'd try middle of the week, mid-morning or early afternoon. Good luck!
