I have been talking to the gentlemen at the NG Resource Office here on post and they've said that the only positions that they know about are the ones posted on Tour of Duty. I have been checking it religiously for the past month and there hasn't really been anything posted that I would be qualified for. I'm just curious if anyone knows of another route to go? I would prefer to not try extend with the incoming unit that is replacing us. Specifically, I would like something with the potential for a little more action than what I am currently doing.

Thank you ahead of time. What is the best way to extend while in theater besides TOD for NG? 2018-12-15T00:12:31-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4209264

Hello all,

I am currently deployed in CENTCOM AOR and am interested in an In-Theater Extension upon the completion of my current orders. The gaining unit must post the requirement on TOD, and the gaining unit must accept your TOD packet. That is the way ITE works.
There is some back-channel coordination to this, BN staffs from outgoing and incoming units communicate with MOS lists of Soldiers willing to ITE to determine how to post the requirements on TOD.
