If I can do it, so can you. By doing so you save your own money and the everyone else's. There is also the ability to lower your nicotine amounts so if your like me I have no nicotine in my e-cigs its simply the motion I'm more addicted to and the flavor is good. Quitting cold turkey is the best way to do anything but some others need help and this is an awesome program for that. As with anything else though, please do your own research and come to your own conclusions. Personally I smoked for 5 or so years and to quit smoking I starting chewin. I quit chewin by using the E-cig and its been over a year now since I smoked. I try randomly when I'm out of batteries or just because but the smoke from a cigarette makes me sick now. I think a lot of smokers would say the hardest part of quitting is the simple act of smoking not so much the cigarettes. That's my personal opinion though. The other chemicals, propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) are both FDA approved for some sort of consumption and PG is an additive to some asthma medications.
The concept was invented by a pharmacists and they resemble older prescription nicotine replacement devices.
While we cannot say that "e-cigs" are 100% risk free, we CAN say that your soda, your cereal, your prepackaged deli meats and your favorite fast food ARE NOT 100% risk free.
While the effects of vaporizers have not been vetted, we DO know that they are exponentially less dangerous than regular cigarettes.
Some people couldn't quit the old fashioned way. Now I don't really smoke cigars anymore. I know others who have gotten off cigarettes through e-cigs. In my opinion, the most harmful effects of smoking are from the combustion, not the nicotine, so I see e-cigs as a viable alternative. Then not smoking at friends houses (outside of course). Then slowly over time only when I was at work. This got me down to four cigarettes a day and none on days off. Then I went to only during work, but only one in the morning and one in the afternoon until eventually it was just one a day. Then I just stopped. I have one of the cigarettes from my last pack in a Russia Cigarette case. My deal was if I started smoking again, it had to start with that cigarette which is now 11 years old!
