What have you done since you left the service? Have you been to college? Been productive in got community? Have you changed since you exited the military?

You will need your discharge package also! Your best option is to try the national guard!
Don’t consider another branch cause if the army wont take you back then no branch will! You have to show the military why they should take another chance on you!

I got back in with. Misconduct discharge, general under honorable conditions recode 3 but I also proved to the military my discharge was based on a lie and since being out I became a police officer. So what have you done since leaving the serive! Very doubtful... The military is not in need of bodies at the moment. If you have anything documented that says that you couldn't do it the first time they probably don't want to invest the time and money into giving you another chance. I'm trying to reenlist too. As far as messing up like we did. Sometimes we do dumb stuff. But as we grow up it leaves the mind with maturity, chances are there. You can get back in but you have to make that change in your mind. Forget everyone else bringing you down. We are all in this together, never leave a fallen comrade. You can reenlist with re 3 and pattern of misconduct. Go to recruiters and make sure you're squared away before you do. They'll have to review your case and see the reasons why and you'll have to answer the questions as to why. But we all make mistakes, it's what we do with the lessons we learn that make us better leaders than our superiors. Take the reigns and make you're move wisely and with purpose.
