Way back in the 1980s I got the pleasure to meet the USMC mascot Bodacious. His escorts/handlers were very, shall we say, protective of him. I think they were about to beat the crap out of a non-Marine for saying he was ugly. I think the guy realized his error & walked away with his tail between his legs.

Our Mascot is named after Chesty Puller we call him Chesty he's a English Bulldog.
