What is the Garrison policy? Thank you for your service. Being that the tech in the 90s was not to the point yet to be discreet...you couldn&#39;t really get away with it in uniform. PT was about the only gray area...and I guess that was up to the command I think Response by PO3 John Keas made Aug 11 at 2018 5:41 PM 2018-08-11T17:41:07-04:00 2018-08-11T17:41:07-04:00 Sgt Private RallyPoint Member 3873825 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I use to use Bluetooth head phones on hikes. It kept it discrete and kept on earbud out. You can always modify some of the new headset to work as head phones. To be honest as a communicator I never saw the harm in training as long as the where not blasting it using speaker systems. It is honestly no different to me than having a headset on monitoring the Command and Control frequency if anything they can be less discreet. I think even the Marines have their own directive which could be tighter than the Navy to which the Corps is. attached. Depends where you are too. The host base/Post Regs, guidelines prevails (many based these days has multiple service branches working on base/PostS. Personally keep it discreet (have rad buds that match your flesh and don’t be doing the be-bop and hauling a monster ghetto-blaster that hits 8 on the richtor scale...
