What is "typing phase" regarding a MEB?

I'm going through a MEB and my PEBLO informed me that I was in the "typing phase" of the PEB portion. Do anyone of you all knows what that mean or can give me a timeline from that point to end?

I went through mine from 2018 to 2020. From your description, I think they're saying that all the: VA/Dr diagnosis have been done and the Army can now make their determinations and finish the form DA3947.
That's my best guess.

Without the context of what has been done previously and what is remaining it is hard to answer your question. I went through MEB in 2012 and know the process well but the terminology "typing phase" is not something I am familiar with. Have you already done your evaluations, has the package been submitted to the MEB and have you received your findings yet? Normally once the package is submitted it can take 6 months for a response from the board. It took several months for me to get everything I needed for the package to go to DC for review. Evaluations at the VA, non medical assessments, required briefings and all that jazz. Once you get your results you sit down with your PEBLO and you decide to accept or deny the findings which branches out and dictates your next step. If you accept you get your new EAS/ETS which is calculated based off remaining leave days and things like that. You can extend up to a year if you need extra time to get your affairs in order. I haven't heard "typing phase" used in reference to the process, but I would imagine it is just the administrative data being typed up.
