What is your biggest pain point as a veteran business owner?

I will say in dealing with local governments (municipalities, state level), using veteran status can be very beneficial but very tricky to master bringing it up in interpersonal interactions. Many local government employees are veterans many are not, how you approach meetings and speaking on their level can be the difference between instantaneously forging valuable relationships and going through painstaking process' and red tape that others usually go through. In other words, using the fact that as veterans we sacrificed in our service to our advantage is the best way to develop relationships with people from all walks of life, even civilians, and learning how to use it and how to bring it up in conversations is a critical skill in developing a network of professionals who respect you and your cause or business (whatever it may be) in my experience.

Not an owner, do know a couple of people that are. They're doing pretty well.
