SSG Adam Reed 480302

AAHH.....It's time for leave. Get that form to the Commander and pack your bags. But hey, Where do we spend it? Do we just stay on base and chill? Do we go back home and visit with the friends and family? Or do we go somewhere new and take it all in? These are questions we answered many times when filling out that leave request. And no matter what the answer was we always remember that one cool place we went. For me, it was a small village in Austria that had some of the best Alps skiing I had ever done. So, what was yours? Type away and let us know of your best time on leave. . . . I simply went everywhere I could on weekends and 3 and 4 day weekends. I visited so many countries.
In the states, I took leave to visit family.
I had something like 40 days leave accrued when I PCSd. It was awesome to get out so early. It was a blast!

i am on what is called the Big Way Circuit where we form large formations and try to break World Records.

One event even takes me home where I get to visit my Mother.

This year alone I am on four events in four different locations. We have been on a few cruises that were really fun but crazy expensive.

After an Iraq tour in 08 we went to a Sandals resort in St Lucia and have been hooked ever since. Last year after Afghanistan we went to the Sandals in Antigua, it was awesome. If you have never done it I highly recommend them. Twice for work on the north slope and once for a cruise vacation. I have to say the work visits were the same as, if not better than the cruise. Rained every day on the cruise. But saw so much of the state while working. Boston and Plymouth are two of my favorite destinations. Being at Cannon AFB here in NM, my wife and I have been to Albuquerque a few times. Heading there again first weekend in June. San Antonio was fun while we were there. Lots of great food all over. Response by TSgt Joe C. made May 24 at 2016 5:24 PM 2016-05-24T17:24:56-04:00 2016-05-24T17:24:56-04:00 2015-02-16T20:07:40-05:00
