What's everyone go-to flashlight/pocket knife for everyday carry?

Just trying to see common brands, recommendations, life-span, etc. Currently, I carry a Benchmade Griptilian (Full Size), w/ a Fenix Pd35. The Griptilian holds a amazing edge that never rusts. The Pd35 is definitely bright, and has different filters for (red, blue, green) available for different conditions. However, the Pd35 can get insanely hot, and one time accidentally clicked on and ended up burning through my pants, and getting a burn mark on my a$$.

I like the Gerber Gator, the last 2 years of the Army to today (27 years) I like the Bell and Howell flashlight (about 4" has multiple settings, zooms in and pulls out into a mini lantern). Just my preference brother SPC Private RallyPoint Member

I always carried a Mini Mag. and a leather man. But then again unless it was really dark i walked in the dark.

I've been given several Swiss Army knives over the years and have never felt the need to carry anything else.

I have about 30 knives and multi tools. Love Benchmade black class folders and Tops Knives for fix blade. Right know it’s the BENCHMADE 575-1 MINI PRESIDIO II & 570-1 PRESIDIO II CF Elites. And the TOPS Knives Bull Trout Fixed Blade. PD32 FENIX FLASHLIGHT

Boker Plus carbon fiber handle with a ceramic blade. Sharp AF but brittle. Great for cuticle care.....

SPC Private RallyPoint Member Your Griptilian is made from either 154CM or S30V steel and both do well against rust and hold an edge well. 154CM is a litter easier to sharpen were as the S30V is a little tougher. Benchmade uses a lot of S30V steel now, but they do use higher grade steels in their more expensive knives.

When I was still teaching/working Swiftwater Rescue, I finally settled on a Spyderco Rescue 79 in a custom kydex sheath that I could lash to my PFD. It allowed one handed access and one hand opening. Love their knives. If I ever lose the knife a carry now, I will invest in a Spyderco Endura as a more all purpose knife.
The light in my gun safe is a Streamlight Protec series. All sizes and price ranges for your purpose.

Everyday knife is a Leatherman single bladed knife they don't make anymore. Partly serrated blade like some of the Spyderco knives and a 3" blade. Don't even remember where I bought it, but it's still doing the job and I have had it for at least 15 years. And that everyday light is still a Mini Mag, although this is my third one, lost two more, including the one that taught me not to buy camouflage flashlights. The one in my pack is older than my pocket knife.
