If you call reassignment they'll just send you on a wild goose chase and eventually refer you to retention. I asked because if you’re in AIT, they are not going to allow you to be a hold over at a location your dependents are not authorized at. Hope all that is of at least some possible use, of course.... Have your sponsor inform your soon to be Chain of Command and get emails and phone numbers. You may not have enough leave days from the time of graduation to the birth during that time. So my suggestion would be to take maybe a week of leave to see your family, report to your unit which you by then should be in contact with and know your situation. When nearing the due date request ordinary leave and when you wife is having the baby request paternity leave. To get ahead of this is to have good communitication with your sponsor and future Chain of Command. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 29 Mar 2019 16:54:01 -0400 2019-03-29T16:54:01-04:00 2019-03-25T11:18:40-04:00
