What should someone do when their Platoon/Squad leadership keeps making them bust profile?

I got diagnosed with Narcolepsy w/o cataplexy and I'm now on profile for it. I can drive any military vehicles, pull any duties or guard/watch, do anything that requires too much attention, and I can't participate in any combat simulations. They still have me as a driver for my crew drill, and we're going to the field for 3 weeks soon but I don't think I can actually go because of the profile

Profiles are up to the interpretation of the commander. If the commander is willing to accept risk by objecting to your profile, then there isn't much you can do. Profiles are mainly recommendations to the commander and the commander assumes the risk of having you violate the profile. you would need it to say in very strong wording "No directed" blah blah blah.

If the condition was as serious as you are making it out to be, you would be recommended for a MEB and separated.

Will you be driving by yourself? Don’t think so! Then don’t worry.

Your Commander assumes all risk and sure as a 14E s/he doesn’t need to worry about you getting lost while conducting a movement to contact!

With all that when are going to a MEB? From reading what you wrote- you a on a Deadman Profile and of no use to the service.

If you have all the limitations you’ve listed, you’re probably going to be processed for a MEB. Serving in the Military requires you to be able to pay attention to details or you can put others at risk. No disrespect intended, if you can’t serve in combat, pull any duties, or watch your battle’s back, serving in the Military is not the job for you.
