What would better my chances of being selected as a Reserve AGR?

I submitted my AGR application for the upcoming board in June and was wondering what else can I do to better my chances of being selected for the program. I have an updated photo, i dont have any flags, and I am willing to reclass in necessary. Is there anything more that I can do on my end?

If you have the opportunity, I would go to the unit and introduce yourself, depending on the position you are applying for. For example if you are applying for a training NCO position go meet the readiness NCO, good chance he will be on the board. Good chance unit leadership will be there too, if you can show them your personality and that your committed it will help for the board. Also to study the new position and have an understanding of how to accomplish the tasks you will be given

First off, best of luck SSG! After I was selected for my AGR position, I asked what made me stand out from the other candidates. I was told it mostly hinged on how well the packet was put together. That was a disqualifying factor for many out the gate. The Letter of Recommendations are very important!
