My Green Contico Pro Tuff Bin. Purchased with unit funds, never went on records, you could fit your A & B bags into it. Issued it back in 2009 and still have it to this day.

My SureFire helmet light. It's easily removed and re-attached plus is always looking where the wearer is looking. it's either white light or red light (blue and green versions as well) which is really handy.

In Undergraduate Pilot Training in 1969, I was issued a switchblade-type pocket knife for cutting parachute lines, allowing steering of the decent. The knife was pink. Well, the intent may have been to have it dayglow orange, but, in fact, the thing was pink. Even worse, the hook-shaped blade for cutting the lines was NOT the blade that popped out — it was the relatively-useless straight blade. Lowest bidder ?? Likely.
