When getting a pay change from enlisted to officer, does it take effect the following month? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/when-getting-a-pay-change-from-enlisted-to-officer-does-it-take-effect-the-following-month <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I just commissioned mid-May. My LES for May 1-31 still says E-6. I&#39;m guessing my O-1E pay will appear on my June LES, but I just wanted to make sure it shouldn&#39;t have shown up on this one (so that I can try to get it taken care of sooner rather than later if it is a mistake). DFAS is closed and won&#39;t open again until Tuesday, so I figured I&#39;d throw it out to the RP group since y&#39;all are so helpful. Your June LES should reflect your correct status. Congrats on the commission. Never forget your enlisted roots. It should hit the following pay cycle since you commissioned mid-month. You should get back-pay. Please follow up with DFAS and ensure you have a million copies of your previous promotions and your commissioning paperwork, because they will magically disappear.
