The threats always exist, be they from terrorists, or criminals.<br /><br />The bottom line is, my family is number one in my book, and I will do anything to ensure their safety and security.<br /><br />That said, if we know of an increase to a specific threat, I adjust measures accordingly. I have plenty of rabbits, squirrels, Quail and dove for food. Dogs for early alert and a safe full of weapons from .22 to .44mag to 30-06 rifle. <br /><br />I live in a fairly sparce part of town so anybody on my road or property will stand out. <br /><br />Door strikers are reinforced and lock sets are ANSI grade 1 (although it should be noted that ONLY Assa Abloy are pick proof). Motion sensor lighting inside and out. <br /><br />If one gets past that, you have a Marine with a K-Bar defending his daughter!!
