Where can I find an AR-14? Are they expensive? Are they hard to find?

It appears that the AR-14 was a sporting predecessor to the AR-15. The picture I saw more resembles the Ruger Mini-14 than an AR-15. Probably rare as hen's teeth.

According to "Shotgun Joe" Biden, there are just too many of those M-14s in the hands of "civilians" i.e. American citizens.

You can probably find an AR-14 for sale from the same dealers that handle the deadly .9mm fully semi-auto one-handed machine pistols. Otherwise, you might consider a nice Ruger Mini-14 (5.56mm) or Mini-30 (7.62 x 39mm). Very dependable. I have no experience with the AR-14.

Think you're talking about a semi auto Armalite was tinkering with in the mid '50s. This drawing shows an internal stacked magazine. It supposedly came in .243, .308, and 358 Win. Some sources speculate it operates like a Browning Auto 5 in which the barrel thrusts back to cycle the rounds. It's hard to tell directly from this fuzzy drawing.

There is an M14 which there was a automatic model. Matel used to make them but all they did was go click.
