I have a similar issue with not being able to put in my original specialty in my profile because it is now obsolete. I have to select 'Other' instead of Port Security Specialist. The only time I was a Seaman was the 2 months at Great Lakes as an SR, but since, until I made MM3, I was a Fireman, and damn proud of it.
