It has come to my units attention that certain radical individuals are engaging in data farmin on soldiers and piecing these seemingly insignificant pieces of data together to gain the bigger picture of military readiness, deployment plans, movements and locations. I was advised not to present myself in any way outside of uniform as a member of the military. I display no decals on my vehicle, hide my ruck and gear in the trunk when traveling and try to be as inconspicuous as possible. This is for my safety as well as other soldiers in my unit.
