My branch (USAF) is more or less mocked by the film Iron Eagle. My career field has a couple of interesting moments in a couple of films. Security Forces takes over NASA in Armageddon (I've questioned the validity of that, especially the part where they take over comms and are in control of detonating a nuclear weapon. My career field was embarrassed in the first 15 minutes of Iron Man. It's cool that SF is running security detail for Tony Stark. But, when you're engaged by the enemy and calling contact to the left, DO NOT GET OUT ON THAT SIDE! Seriously, I wanted to enjoy a Marvel movie, but found myself doing a face palm upon seeing my career field being depicted as incompetent.Response by SSgt Charles Edwards made May 21 at 2015 9:29 PM2015-05-21T21:29:53-04:002015-05-21T21:29:53-04:00Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth8533762<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>"We were soldiers once" Movie about Hal Moore and his team.Response by Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth made Oct 30 at 2023 10:17 AM2023-10-30T10:17:31-04:002023-10-30T10:17:31-04:002015-03-18T12:23:01-04:00
