Enlisted in the Marine Corps through the Kingston, New York Recruiting Station.

Enlisted in the Army from the Jacksonville, North Carolina Recruiting Station and transferred to the Elizabethtown, Kentucky Recruiting Station to complete the process.

I enlisted from Centralia Wash, also went back to find the SOB who signed me up to (ehem) discuss all the lies he told me, there was no Winnebago, no pool, no spa and the food was NOT 5 star.

SGM Matthew Quick I enlisted along with my twin brother and cousin at the recruiting station, Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York on our 17th birthdays in 1969. We were visiting them since we were 15. I remember they gave us recruiting stickers with their name and address and Army logo on them. We had plastered them all over the New York City Transit System. I remember seeing one still on a car at least 15 years later! Brought back fond memories!
