They always ran my questions to ground, ensured my monthly payments went out, etc. SFC Mark Merino Wed, 01 Jul 2015 16:31:31 -0400 2015-07-01T16:31:31-04:00 Response by SR Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 1 at 2015 4:34 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/who-can-help-veterans-with-the-post-9-11-gi-bill-around-joint-base-lewis-mcchord?n=783979&urlhash=783979 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Typically, you can stop into any college or university in the area (I go to UW-Tacoma and PLU) and speak to a VA representative. There are also a few dedicated VA offices that can be found on their website for a POC. I am on mobile right now, or I'd grab those for you. All schools have a rep on staff, and they are there to ease your transition. Good Luck! I think it is state-wide but I know that at the University of Washington they will usually cut your Tuition costs in half. I don't know how the Post-911 works, as I have the MGIB-SR (1606), but it may help with any limits of how much they will pay. It's on the road behind the National guard center that sits on 2nd and Pendleton. I have an appointment to go speak with an advisor soon!! Really exited!
