Kasal has been on the front lines for the USMC for years, meritoriously promoted numerous times, Marine/NCO of the quarter/year/etc. numerous times, and he has multiple awards for valor including the Navy Cross and 2 purple hearts. To me they have to make Kasal SgtMajUSMC or it says to the combat decorated soldiers that their efforts are not as important as staff time.
