Who is good auto insurance company to get auto insurance from as a veteran?

This answer is biased - however, I say USAA. I have been with them for over 20 years...and they have gone above and beyond ever-single-time I've needed them. They pride themselves on customer service. Obviously - the rates they quote you will depend on your driving record and number of claims you have filed in the past.

I use USAA. Every year or so I shop around for new quotes on auto insurance and sometimes it's Geico or Allstate. They've all treated me very well whenever I've had an accident. But I prefer USAA the most. They will go out of their way to do things other companies won't.

I use USAA. They have bent over backwards to help me. The majority of my financial world is in USAA.

I go with whichever national service will give me the best rates. I have USAA for my vehicles and Harley Davidson Insurance for the motorcycle. You may have better luck with others. I'd recommend staying away from the "budget" companies like "The General, SafeAuto, and Billy Bob's Hamburgers, Fries, and Insurance. You might save a few dollars in premiums and (hopefully) meet your state's minimum requirements for liability but have a huge legal hassle trying to get them to pay a claim.

USAA is good but I use SAFECO, which is better if you have teenagers driving.
