Also, I sort of wish the Army would have tried to come up with something more modern and unique rather than going for a retread for the second time in a row. Especially since it hasn't even been that long since the last change. The cap is not the USAAF crush cap. It’s just bizarre as well. WWII was a time of great challenges and even greater accomplishments for the US Army. Something to be proud of. Good to look back on with pride. It's what is seen the most.
Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers are amazing yes, but that doesn't mean it's the best uniform.

I'm with you on being tired of changing uniforms. Since I've joined I've had: sweat suit, APFU, now IPFU; BDUs, UCP ACUs, OCP ACUs, now Scorpion ACUs; Class A's (greens), ASU, and now am starting to put $ away for AGSU. (Don't get me wrong, getting rid of the UCP was a GOOD idea, that thing should never have happened!)

We just made the Blues into the "normal" dress uniform back in like 2011/12 and only 10 years later are downgrading it back to "tuxedo only" status again? I'd really like to be a fly on the wall at HQDA to see the shenanigans among these decisions. I'm pretty sure it resembles Pentagon Wars and just has people getting close to retiring trying to set themselves up or wanting that 4th Star.

The only people really loving all of this Army craziness of the last 20 years is Ira Green, Vanguard, AAFES, and Marlow White.
