Some privacy options people use are tied to accounts being verified or not and it gives other members a &#39;warm fuzzy&#39; that you&#39;re likely who you say you are.<br /><br />Have you tried verifying the quick way? You can easily verify your account by clicking on your profile in the top-right and selecting &#39;settings&#39;. Under the second grouping, &quot;Account Type&quot;, you should see a &#39;verify&#39; button. When you click on that, it will transfer you to a third-party login (ID.me) to login or establish an account if you don&#39;t have one.<br /><br />ID.me is used by the many entities in the federal government (VA, IRS, SSA, etc.) and many private entities to verify your status against military records without sharing the details of those records with the person requesting verification.<br /><br />Unfortunately the manual way can sometimes take a bit of time as it is one more thing put in the &#39;in box&#39; of the staff who have to do it.<br /><br />Oh, and a belated &quot;welcome to RallyPoint&quot;!
