Some people (military or civilian) just have to learn their own lessons, and sometimes the hard way. As a wise man once said, "You can't fix stupid, not even with duct tape"! I did many things when I was young that I would never do today, back then I was a hardcore Paratrooper and nothing could hurt me, well at least that is what I thought...... Hopefully we learn from them and do not do them again.<br /><br />Engaged and involved leadership certainly helps, but leaders can't be everywhere 24/7/365.
