The problem is the muslim brotherhood was/is corrupt and wanted to hoist sharia law on people. Egypt responded, had a coup and arrested the muslim brotherhood members and most are in prison now. <br /><br />This is the lazy left foreign policy strategy. Stir the pot, leave, see what happens. If we don't like it, just keep walking. As bad as it was. Libya under Khadaffi was better than Libya now. Unfortunately due to the vacillation and hand wringing the same could now be said in Syria. As bad as the Assad family has been, they are better than what is going on now. The Russians know that and are acting to make that the case. We are now bystanders in the region. Cpl Jeff N.
