They have an RPFT and since it’s a selection for their own unit they can use the APFT if they want to. Airborne school hasn’t announced any changes and you can expect them to keep using the APFT as an entrance standard for a while. It would be extremely difficult for them to administer an ACFT to 300 students every single Monday. (Currently however because of covid there is actually no pt test). Basically it’s going to be hand release pushups, leg tucks, and a 2 mile run. Then later of course the normal 5 mile. This could change or not happen at all. I also have friends who are currently at pre-rasp and have said that they are doing ‘experimental’ acft testing. Not sure what it entails but it’s looking like rasp MAY be going towards an acft. Not sure what the standards would be.
