My EAOS is at the end of this year and I do not currently plan on reenlisting. I am enrolled in the High Three retirement plan and it is my goal to commission into the Air Force when I separate from the Navy. When I commission, will I be able to keep the High Three retirement plan or will I automatically be switched over to the Blended Retirement System? Will I be able to keep the High Three retirement or automatically be switched over to the Blended Retirement System if I rejoin the military? 2023-02-02T07:17:33-05:00 PO3 Private RallyPoint Member 8113604

I am currently serving on Active Duty in the Navy and have been in for 6 years. However, since you were within the window and didn't convert at that point, you will remain in the legacy retirement system. 'Break in service' personnel are handled differently than individuals who are new to military service.

(BRS Policy*, Section 9a(2))
--------------------------------------------------------------------
* https://militarypay.defense.gov/Portals/3/Combined%20BRS%20Policy%20Document%20%28Updated%20Oct%202020%29.pdf

404 - File or directory not found.

Response by COL Randall C. made Feb 2 at 2023 7:56 AM 2023-02-02T07:56:06-05:00 2023-02-02T07:56:06-05:00 2023-02-02T07:17:33-05:00
