Will I have to delay my re-enlistment due to taking Adderall, even though I was prescribed it in the military? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/will-i-have-to-delay-my-re-enlistment-due-to-taking-adderall-even-though-i-was-prescribed-it-in-the-military

I was prescribed adderall my second year in the army and took it for the remainder of contract.
I’ve been out a little over 2 years and have been prescribed the same medication from a civilian doctor.
That being said, I’m looking at re-enlisting in the guard and very concerned in regards to the good ole’ (keep your mouth shut about previous medical history).
Adderall being a level 2 controlled substance there is a lot of vetting prior to being prescribed, meaning I’m 100% positive me taking adderall while active duty will be cross checked with my civilian records after separation. I know for a fact you have to be a year off of medication when you very first enlist.
My question is will I have to put my re-enlistment on the back burner for a year even though I was prescribed it in the military?
Thanks y’all! Military service and medical problems don't always work out the way you expect. Best of Luck!
