We are teh physical representation of the divine on this planet, whatever that means to you. According to some scholars God is a being full of Wrath and Vengeance, others believe that God is the embodiment of Love. There are 72 sacred names of God that predates any bible or Christian Dogma. The earth is over 3 million years old, to think that we were created on in the last 5,000 years seems uneducated and ignorant. To think we are alone in this galaxy, let alone the Universe is sheer folly. God/Universe/Source/Goddess/Allah/Isis it all refers to the same thing, the divine spark that unites all of us. If God turns out to be an advanced Alien civilization...that doesn't make it any less divine to us.

This could spark a huge debate, but I'll close to simply say, embrace your personal spirituality, not someone else's view of a dogmatic religion. PO2 Brandon Boucher Fri, 31 Jul 2015 13:22:50 -0400 2015-07-31T13:22:50-04:00 Response by PV2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 31 at 2015 1:30 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/will-the-discovery-of-space-aliens-prove-or-disprove-the-existence-of-god?n=857361&urlhash=857361

Has RP become the National Enquirer now? Scientists announced in 1996 that the Allen Hills meteorite found in Antarctica in 1984 might contain fossils of Martian bacteria, based on observable carbonate globules. It might be a bit of a leap, but the idea of extraterrestrial life, albeit bacterial and long dead, isn’t a big one.

We can presume, then, that God created the environment for life to exist in some form throughout the universe, but created Earth to harbor life in His Image. How about beings from another galaxy or solar system. As for the term God, we base this off what religious writers / translators has chosen for the name of a being they believe created us and demand we worship it. It is nothing more than a higher educated being or beings that possibly created or found us long ago and decided to observe or rule over us. A few of them used their technology to create miracles and create followers to write about them. It's possible some stayed behind, it's possible they are still watching us, it's possible they left and will come back later. Regardless, it is something with advanced technology capable of working with the matter that exist within our universe. We have reached levels in our evolution showing the same potential to achieve this same greatness to create. It's just a matter of time. As for proving God exist the answer will be no. What will be proven is advanced technological beings exist and we potentially have the ability to achieve what they already have in this universe and become their equal.

In the 20th century we wrote first and later achieve space travel. Since then we have achieved cloning. We are growing anatomical human parts of the body. Many other things were achieved. In the 21st century we are going to perform space travel within our solar system to our other planets. Eventually we will travel outside the solar system. If we find other early evolving beings on planets we might be consider like gods to them.

God, how it was defined, will not be found and does not exist. A more advance technological being of the time will be proven to have existed or possibly still exist using advance technology.
