I won't be wearing them until they start showing up in clothing sales in Sept at Bliss....I hope my ACUs hold up until then. They're about on their last legs, and I've been holding off replacing them pending when the new OCPs were to be released.

OCP. I dont have Multicams, so I will be buying what I can of the OCP, as it becomes available. Saves me the trouble of trying to scrounge for it at the last minute. That way, come 30Sept2019, I will already have the complete uniform, and wont have to worry about buying it all together.

I'll buy one new OCP per year, other than that, I'll be wearing multicams. No point in buying it all up front if I can wear out the 10 sets of multicams I already have.

I will be wearing the MultiCam until next year when the OCP craze is over and I get my clothing allowance. The Army already spent the money to issue them to me, so I will honor that until they are no longer serviceable. Then I will spend next years CA on OCP, I already used this years to update my ASUs and get some of the new PTs.

Not enough selections. I chose neither..lol. I retire 1 Sep 2016. I MAY buy 1 set to throw in my "war box" along with all the other sets of uniforms I've gone thru in my career.

Personally I think it is a waste of the government's money for me to ditch the UCPs that they issued to me before they wear out or the wear out date. Hopefully they will do their best to issue out all the UCPs so they don't go to waste.

As a reserve, TPU soldier, I will wait until my unit orders them in 2016.

One question I have for AC..is the clothing allowance enough to cover even one set, with boots? I don't recall my CA being enough to cover even a new set of boots when I was AC back in 1990

Neither. Will be wearing ACUs as I have yet to find the 'Coveted' "Combined Arms Center" patch in anything other than the current color scheme. Which is unfortunate as I have about 8 sets of Multicam.

Yes. multicams and I will go back and forth for a little wile until I am out of ACU's. I am going to where them out and get the new OCP over time as I normally replace uniforms. I am going to get all of the good that I can out of the old uniforms before the new ones become mandatory.

Not sure if this has been addressed already, so I'll post anyway. So OCPs and Multi's are a go starting July 1, but won't be available to the Guard until late 2016. So does that mean Guard units won't be able to get them through their supply system until late '16 or Guard can't wear them until late '16. Reason for the question is that I've got sets of Multi left over from AD, and a bunch of guys in my unit that also went to OEF while active and with other guard units have them as well, BUT this unit of ours hasn't been to OEF (if ever) since the adoption of Multicam. So can guard commanders keep guys from wearing the new uniforms, just because supply won't get them for another year, even though the top brass says its all good?
