I'm honestly hoping that I don't ever own one LOL. I have like 5 or so different uniforms already and my house looks like a Military Surplus store!

Though I'm not in the Army and I am also retired and thus don't have to buy uniforms anymore, this is an issue in the Navy also. Too much time and resources (namely money) are put into developing new uniforms when it would be better re-purposed towards things like training, war fighting, and service member retention.

I heard that we'll be able to wear the Multicam uniforms we received for deployment instead of the new ones, so I'll probably do that. As National Guard I've never had to buy uniforms, I guess we just don't wear them out fast enough.

I will wait as long as I can. What I will do is buy a little bit here and there. The clothing allowance is not enough to purchase four sets of everything or what we are expected to have.

If I read right, we can use the uniform issued for Afghanistan. If that's true, that will be what I'm doing.

I was looking online and don't see the AMEDD unit patch available in multicam. Wonder what we're supposed to do there - or maybe they'll be releasing them soon.

I plan to wait for it for my unit to issue them or until it becomes mandatory. I'm happy with my clean ACU's and don't see the need now to buy all of this stuff because it adds up quick.
